Our Unity Candle
I purchased a pillar candle and two taper candles separately at Hobby Lobby during their 40% candle sale to use for our unity candle. I have seen several very nice unity candle sets but often the sets are $20 or more and these candles cost me less than $4.
To decorate the candle, I used leftover fabric I had from making our centerpiece fabric squares. I trimmed the edges with ribbon and attached a heart locket I got at Hobby Lobby as well to the pillar candle.
The candle stands I paid a little more for and also purchased them at Hobby Lobby. I didn't mind spending a little more on the stands because I figured we could always use them as decor around the house later.
I think they turned out pretty good and you really can't beat a good DIY deal!
